Well, damn.
In early 2015, Anthony Pettis was living the high life, rocking the UFC’s lightweight championship belt and repping Wheaties as the cereal brand’s newest athlete to don the front of their box.
And then he fought Rafael dos Anjos and, poof, game changed.
Fast-forward six months and dos Anjos is getting ready fight Donald Cerrone and defend the lightweight title the current champ won from Pettis. And although there’s no doubt he’s focused on Cerrone, Rafael still took the time to take a small jab at the man he beat for the 155-pound title back in March.
To the Instagram!
Kick a man when he’s down much? Either that or Rafael is providing a PSA, warning consumers about expired boxes of cereal that have been on grocery-store shelves for a least six months. But that ain’t none of our business.
