Rafael dos Anjos - UFC 139In order to have his hand raised inside Arena Ciudad de México, dos Anjos feels like he just needs to be himself.

“I need to be me. I need to use my skills, be aggressive, and patient, too. I have a lot of confidence that I’m going to get this victory,” he said during an appearance on UFC Tonight.

Ferguson is riding an eight-fight winning streak and is ranked third in the UFC’s 155-pound division, but dos Anjos maintains that he’s fought better fighters than Ferguson.

“Tony has a funky style, but like I said, I’ve got to be me, be aggressive, and be first. I’ve fought better guys than Tony before. I’ve been in three title fights and this is my fifth main event. I have more experience. His overconfidence is going to go against him,” said the former titleholder.

“He’s too overconfident. You can see the way he talks. He’s got eight wins straight, but he’s never faced anyone like me. I’m in the best shape of my life. I feel really good, confident. It’s been a tough year for me, but I’m going to end this year with a victory.”
