Michael Bisping vs. Dan Henderson 2 scorecard

In what will go down as a classic title fight, Michael Bisping retained his middleweight belt in front of his home fans and avenged a loss that was more than seven years old.

But he had to survive some seriously rocky moments to get there. In the UFC 204 main event, Bisping (30-7 MMA, 20-7 UFC) beat Dan Henderson (32-15 MMA, 9-9 UFC) in Henderson’s retirement fight with scores of 48-47, 48-47 and 49-46. And he did it despite getting knocked down twice by Henderson’s famous right hand.

The fighter who looked way worse for the wear when the judges’ scores were read off at Manchester Arena in Manchester, England, was Bisping – by far. Henderson didn’t look like he had a scratch on him. Bisping’s left eye had a massive mouse underneath it from Henderson’s first knockdown.

From a striking standpoint, Bisping led the final four rounds. Immediately after the fight, fans on social media were wondering how the fight would be scored. Was Henderson’s strong first round worth a 10-8, and did he win the second round with his second knockdown, or did Bisping get it thanks to leading the frame for the first four minutes?

Now you can take a look at the scorecard from the UFC 204 headliner, which aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.
