Pass the Chloroform, I Want to Put Rampage Jackson to Sleep: Fan's Rant (Yahoo! Contributor Network)

Pass the chloroform, please. I'd like to grab Quinton "Rampage" Jackson by the throat and jiu jitsu him into submission. That only sounds funny to me because Prius uses that line to advertise their cars. Except they don't use chloroform. That's something Rampage included in his offensive video that I guess he thinks is funny.

Thank you, Maggie Hendricks for posting the video and reminding me why I have a hard time connecting with Rampage Jackson. He got on my nerves when he was a coach on TUF against Rashad Evans. In his attempt to be funny, he's getting on my nerves again. He does nothing, but show his contempt. What a contrast between Rampage and UFC fighter, Brian Stann.

Brian is protective and he understands the meaning of honor and respect. Rampage is self-destructive. Bad form, dude.

There are so many things wrong with this video

I wonder how things are going with the women in Rampage's life. Does he have female family members who would find this video funny? He probably gets on their nerves too.

Rape Jokes

If he's using this video as a way to test the boundaries with the UFC, then it backfired because the video has been up since April 3rd without too much furor. Although, when I clicked through the filmon.tv link, the site wouldn't load and their Youtube page was unavailable.

As I watched the video, I tried to hang with him and trust that there was some redeeming quality, but halfway through, my left eye started twitching and rage built up in my throat.

Rampage, I no longer admire or trust you to carry the brand of UFC fighter. You're a "used to be" in my mind.

This comment on the Youtube page sums it up: "He's obviously not being serious, more making fun of stupid rapists. But it is in poor taste, given his fame he could really be putting out something more positive, without using the topic of rape," by ForThePeopleShow.

I'm disappointed. I expect more from Rampage. He is a genuinely funny guy and as he shows in this video, his acting skills have improved. But wait, was he pretending to be someone else or was he just being himself?

Give me more Brian Stann and less Rampage.
