Strawweight Paige VanZant confirmed that she was recently cussed out by former women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, confirming the story bantamweight titleholder Miesha Tate told while appearing on The Joe Rogan Podcast.

The incident took place just a couple of weeks ago during a Reebok photoshoot. Rousey confronted VanZant about congratulating Holly Holm on her UFC 193 knockout win over “Rowdy.” She allegedly called VanZant, “a fair-weather (expletive),” before saying, “(expletive) you.”
In a statement provided to TMZ, VanZant characterized the confrontation as “unnecessary.”
“It appears that I offended Ronda by congratulating Holly after her victory. The incident was very shocking and totally unnecessary,” said the 22-year-old.
