One FC 8 Weigh-In Results: Headliners Shinya Aoki, Kotetsu Boku On Point for LW Title Tilt

Kotetsu Boku will defend his One Fighting Championship lightweight title for the first time when he faces Shinya Aoki in the main event of One FC 8.

Both Boku and Aoki hit their contracted marks at Thursday’s pre-fight weigh-ins, checking in at 154 and 155 pounds, respectively. Friday’s show takes place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore, and will see heavy hitter Melvin Manhoef (185) square off with UFC veteran Brock Larson (185) in the co-main event.

Former UFC lightweight champion Jens Pulver (134) will also see action on the evening’s pay-per-view card, which streams live at www.onefc.livesport.tv for a charge of US $9.99. “Little Evil” will face off with Masakatsu Ueda (135) in the opening round of One FC’s four-man bantamweight grand prix, which also features Kevin Belingon (135) locking horns with Thanh Vu (135).

Titled “Kings and Champions,” the event will also offer a two-fight undercard, which streams live and for free on Sherdog.com at 7 a.m. ET/4 a.m. PT. Swain Cangco (203) will face Jake Butler (205) at light heavyweight, while Yun Ting Chen (124) toes the line against Ronald Low (124) in a flyweight affair.
