'ONE FC 12: Warrior Spirit' lineup complete with addition of Moraes vs. Paiva

A flyweight matchup between undefeated prospects Adriano Moraes (9-0) and Josh Paiva (4-0) is the final addition to next week’s “ONE FC 12: Warrior Spirit” event.

ONE FC officials recently announced the booking.

“ONE FC is constantly on the lookout for the top prospects around the word, and Adriano Moraes and Josh Paiva on this card is testament to that fact,” ONE FC CEO Victor Cui stated. “These two fighters have taken the world of MMA by a storm and are both entering the ONE FC cage undefeated. The stakes are extremely high, because come Nov. 15, only one of them can leave with his win record intact. Expect sparks to start flying from the very start of the first round.”

“ONE FC 12: Warrior Spirit” takes place at Putra Indoor Stadium in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The event streams in North America as an online pay-per-view. In the headliner, Adam Kayoom and Nobutatsu Suzuki fight for the inaugural welterweight title.

Brazilian Moraes made his professional debut in September 2011 and has earned nine straight wins to open his career, including a perfect 4-0 mark in 2013. Fighting exclusively in his native Brazil thus far in his career, Moraes has earned three knockouts, three submissions and three decision wins.

Meanwhile, Californian Paiva turned pro in October 2011 and has fought three times under the King of the Cage banner, where he’s earned that promotion’s flyweight title. A muay Thai specialist, two of his wins have come by way of knockout.

With the addition to the lineup, ONE FC 12 now includes:

• Adam Kayoom vs. Nobutatsu Suzuki – for inaugural welterweight title
