A 155-pound contest between striking enthusiasts Anthony Njokuani (pictured) and Paul Taylor is currently in the works for the Nov. 5 card, set for the LG Arena at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, England.
MMAJunkie.com first reported that one of the parties in the fight had verbally agreed to the matchup Wednesday.
The 31-year-old Njokuani, a Nigerian native, last appeared in the Octagon on July 2 at UFC 132, where he earned a unanimous decision over former TUF 9 finalist Andre Winner.
Blackpool, England's Taylor, also 31, upped his UFC mark to 4-5 with a second-round stoppage of Gabe Ruediger at UFC 126 in February.
