Nick Diaz wants to start a new MMA organization

Nick Diaz after being defeated by Carlos Condit for the interim UFC welterweight belt at UFC 143 one year ago announced a possible retirement. That first time I think it might just have been the emotions of losing, but when he mentioned the retirement again after being beaten by Georges St-Pierre at UFC 158 in Canada, it could be serious. He has recently also registered a website for a planned promotion called WAR Mixed Martial Arts at NickDiazPromotions.com. The California State Athletic Commission has also confirmed that Diaz has started the process of applying for a promoter's license.
