The Nevada State Athletic Commission Thursday confirmed the live viewership figures for UFC 137, announcing that the Oct. 29 event was attended by 10,313 spectators for a live gate of $3,900,650.

NSAC Executive Director Keith Kizer emailed Sherdog.com the figures on Thursday morning. Of the total spectators in attendance, 8,179 purchased tickets while an additional 2,134 attendees were provided complimentary admission. A total of 409 tickets remained that were neither sold nor comped.

Held at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, UFC 137 was headlined by a bloody welterweight battle between Nick Diaz and B.J. Penn. Diaz used his superior reach to stifle the former two-division world champion, keeping Penn at distance and assaulting him with hundreds of punches en route to a unanimous decision victory.

The venue also provided a closed-circuit feed of the event, which was attended by 723 patrons and drew a gate of $26,150. In all, 523 attendees paid for their admission, while 200 tickets were comped. A total of 2,081 tickets for the closed-circuit feed went unused.
