Antonio Brown, wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers, plans to pay homage to two great athletes.
When Brown runs onto the field this Sunday for pre-game warm-ups, he’ll be wearing shoes that honor two Miami icons, the late-great MMA fighter Kimbo Slice, and baseball star Jose Fernandez.

That’s some love.
The Steelers will play the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, and since Brown is a from Miami, he wants to recognize his comrades. Brown also recently wore shoes that paid respect to Muhammad Ali and golfing great Arnold Palmer.
It’s unclear whether Brown will wear the shoes in the game. He was fined $15,000 at the start of the season for wearing blue cleats and twerking during a game against the Washington Redskins.
The NFL should probably relax and let AB wear the shoes during the game. Who does it hurt?
I am sure Vince McMahon would have let him do it in the overlooked, underappreciated, disrespected XFL.
