Must-see video with MMA elite ready for MMAjunkie Radio's 2,000th show

Next week in Las Vegas brings an event so big the entire MMA world is coming out for it.

Sorry, Conor. Sorry, Chad and Robbie and Rory. Those guys are big, no doubt. But the day before they tussle at UFC 189, MMA history will be made. And elite camps from around the country have taken notice.

On July 10, MMAjunkie Radio, with hosts “Gorgeous” George Garcia and Brian “Goze” Garcia, will put on their 2,000th show, making these boys the absolute Godfathers of MMA radio.

We’re not going to give away everything planned for No. 2,000 just yet. But to give you a little tease as to just how huge the sport’s community thinks this show is going to be, a whole bunch of warriors decided to come out and play.

We’re talking Xtreme Couture fighters. We’re talking the Blackzilians. We’re talking the crew at Jackson/Winkeljohn’s. We’re talking Alliance and “Bang” Ludwig fighters. We’re talking Cobra Kai and Syndicate and Drysdale and Wand Fight Team and One Kick Nick’s. We’re talking Dolce and the UFC’s cut men and the famed Bishop Gorman wrestling team.

What? That doesn’t entice you enough? Fine. We’ll name drop. You know who wants to make sure you’re in Las Vegas for MMAjunkie Radio’s 2,000th show, or at the very least listening in on SiriusXM Ch. 92 on the day? How about Frank Mir and Don Frye? What about Stefan Struve, Miesha Tate, Bryan Caraway, Michael Johnson, Henry Cejudo and Al Iaquinta? Not enough? Fine. Michael Chandler, Jon Fitch, Robert Drysdale, Gray Maynard, Ray Sefo, Michelle Waterson, Jay Hieron, Jorge Santiago, Brad Tavares, Ricky Lundell, Neil Melanson, Stitch Duran, Duane Ludwig, Phil Baroni

The bottom line is, MMAjunkie Radio is kind of a big deal to all these folks. And for the historic 2,000th show, they’re willing to go to some pretty insane limits to make sure it’s a big deal to you, too.

Check out the video above, and you’ll see what we mean. Then make plans to be in Las Vegas during the UFC’s “International Fight Week,” which culminates with a few huge events – yes, UFC 189 on July 11, the TUF 21 Finale on July 12, the UFC Fan Expo … but also, the biggest MMAjunkie Radio episode in history, paired with the 2015 Junkie Gathering, live next Friday from noon to 2 p.m. ET (9 to 11 a.m. PT), at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

And if you can’t be there in person, the show is available on SiriusXM Sports Zone (channel 92), or a video stream of the two-hour show at www.mmajunkie.com/radio.
