The Ultimate Fighter 16 finale has gained a welterweight match-up as Mike Pyle has announced he’ll be facing James Head on the card.
Pyle made the declaration on his Twitter account on Sunday.
“I’ll be fighting James Head in Vegas Dec 15!” wrote Pyle.
With a 5-1 record in his last six fights, Mike Pyle has continued to look strong in a very tough UFC welterweight division. Most recently, Pyle knocked out Josh Neer at UFC on FX 3 in early June to pick up his second win in a row.
Looking to build on a similar two fight win streak is James Head, who comes into the fight after an impressive win over veteran Brian Ebersole in July.
Now the former middleweight looks to stay undefeated at 170lbs when he faces another true veteran of the sport in Mike Pyle.
