Michael Bisping on UFC bout against Cung Le: 'You will never see a beating like this. Trust Me.'

Michael Bisping and Cung Le traded barbs during a UFC press conference held in Hong Kong.

Middleweights Michael Bisping and Cung Le were in Hong Kong today for a press conference to promote their headlining bout at UFC: Macau, and following the customary face offs and pleasantries, it didn't take long before they traded barbs. Our friends from MMA-in-Asia.com spoke to both men about their impending clash.

Le has been balancing his movie and fighting careers, but now that he's booked to compete again, he's looking to build on that last knockout win which happened on the very same venue as this upcoming bout against Bisping:

"I'm looking to match that performance (against Rich Franklin in Macau), or take it to another level. I'm looking forward to fighting Michael Bisping. He talks a lot, but he fights good too so I'm very excited about that."

"I don't predict fights, but one thing I have going for me is that I believe. I believe in myself. I believe in my skills, and come August 23rd, it's on. It's on."

Bisping on the other hand, isn't used to pulling any punches and he promised to get redemption from his last loss by handing out complete and utter domination against Cung:

"It's always good to go face to face with your opponent. It gets you excited for the fight. I'm always motivated anyway, but this press conference (in Hong Kong), it makes you realize what a big deal it is. It's extra motivation, and extra fuel for the fire."

"I was top 5, but I slid down a bit after that fight against Tim Kennedy. It was a bad fight. It was a bad night at the office. We all have that now and again, but I will rectify that on August 23rd. I will beat the living crap out of Cung Le. I will beat him from pillar to post. You will never see a beating like that. Trust me. I'm a man possessed. Cung Le is going down, and I'm taking the crown."
