Sandro tipped the scales at 145.8 pounds, while Straus weighed in at 146. Bellator 68 takes place Friday night at Caesars Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, N.J., and airs on MTV2 and Epix.
In addition to the final round of the featherweight draw, the event will also showcase a bantamweight tournament semifinal between Marcos Galvao (136) and Travis Marx (135.4). Rounding out the televised portion of the card will be a 230-pound catch-weight affair between UFC veteran Seth Petruzelli (225.5) and Carmelo Morrero (230), as well as a welterweight rematch pitting Dream champion Marius Zaromskis (169.8) against Waachiim Spiritwolf (172.4).
Sandro, 35, has been beaten just once in his Bellator career, falling to future champion Pat Curran in the Summer Series tournament finals last August. Since suffering that loss, the Nova Uniao representative has won three straight fights, topping Roberto Vargas and Alexandre Bezerra en route to his sophomore finals appearance.
In Straus, Sandro faces another man with only one loss on his Bellator record. Like his opponent, Straus has also won a trio of contests since falling to Patricio Freire in the Season 4 finals, outpointing Jeremy Spoon in March and Mike Corey in April to earn his current spot opposite Sandro.
