UFC SwedenA featherweight bout between Marcus Brimage and UFC newcomer Conor McGregor has been added to the UFC on Fuel 9 card, sources tell MMAWeekly.com.

Brimage (6-1) was selected to appear on both The Ultimate Fighter 8 and The Ultimate Fighter: United States vs. United Kingdom, but injuries prevented him from competing on either season.

He made the drop to featherweight and did appear on The Ultimate Fighter: Team Bisping vs. Team Miller.  He lost in the house to Bryan Caraway, but is officially 3-0 in the 145-pound division.  In his last outing, he defeated Jimy Hettes at UFC 152.

McGregor, 12-2 will be making his UFC debut.

UFC on Fuel TV 9 takes place on April 6, 2013 at the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.  The event is headlined by light heavyweights Alexander Gustafsson and Gegard Mousasi.  The event will mark Mousasi’s promotional debut.
