It looks like Dan Miller will be making his return to the octagon sometime in the fall.

In today's feelgood MMA story, it looks like Dan Miller will be making his return to the octagon soon. The brother of Jim Miller has competed 12 times in the promotion across two division, but has been out of action since a March 2013 loss to Jordan Mein. Today, his manager told MMA Junkie that he was preparing to come back:

"Dan Miller’s back to training. I contacted (UFC matchmaker) Joe Silva, and we’re looking to (get back) in September. Hopefully anywhere from September on you’ll see Dan Miller back in the octagon."

Miller (14-7, 1 NC) underwent spinal fusion surgery due to lingering neck issues earlier this year and opened a gym with brother Jim. It's unclear if he'll be returning at welterweight, where he has taken his last two fights, or at middleweight where he spent the majority of his career before that. He's 6-6 overall in the UFC.
