MMAWeekly Radio is back with UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz and lots of MMA action, including an in depth conversation about the UFC on Fox.

Dominick Cruz (18-1) is putting his belt on the line for the fourth time when he steps in the Octagon with Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson on Oct. 1 in Washington, DC. The two headline UFC on Versus 6, the promotion’s final fight card on the Versus network before taking off with Fox.

There hasn’t been a lot of smack talk between the two leading up to this fight, and don’t count on much more even as the fight draws nearer. But never forget, when the cage door closes, for Cruz, it’s all systems go.

“When it’s time to fight, I’m going to kill you,” says the champ.

There’s a good reason for that too. Cruz doesn’t just want to win, he wants to win big and etch his name in eternity.

“I feel like there is a lot for me to do (at 135),” said Cruz, even though he’s mowed through nearly all the competition set before him. “I want to be in the history books permanently and I want people to remember my name forever.”
