Brian Stann driving forward
MMAWeekly Radio returns for Tuesday’s show with UFC on Fuel 2 fighters Brian Stann and Siyar Bahadurzada as well as debate in the Sixth Round.

Brian Stann will discuss his upcoming fight with Alessio Sakara as well as how he bounces back from the loss to Chael Sonnen. Siyar Bahadurzada joins the show for the first time to talk about his UFC debut as well as growing up in Afghanistan, and how that shaped him as a fighter.

Finally the debate heats up in the Sixth Round with the following topics:

- UFC on Fuel 2 this weekend..is Alexander Gustafsson the best prospect in the light heavyweight division to eventually challenge or beat Jon Jones?
- Thiago Silva is returning from a year off suspension. Do you believe he can be a top ten light heavyweight again?
- The ratings for the Ultimate Fighter Live have continued to slip. What do you think is the ultimate cause for it?
- Cris Cyborg’s suspension was upheld and she will be out for one year. Did the commission make the right call?
- According to court documents filed, Cyborg was up for a fight in June or July with Ronda Rousey. Can that fight still be as big when Cyborg returns presumably in 2013?

This is MMAWeekly Radio for Tuesday, April 10

And according to the war veteran, Sonnen left his employers with "no choice." If retired Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) attraction Chael Sonnen was hoping to get some love from his FOX friends after the network unceremoniously dumped him last night (June 30, 2014), he may have to lean on Kenny Florian or perhaps even Karyn Bryant. He won't be getting much sympathy from fellow analyst Brian Stann. "@AverageJoeArt: @BrianStann do you think UFC/FOX making an example of Chael is just?" Yes, ab more

Don’t expect Brian Stann to come to the defense of his former opponent and colleague Chael Sonnen. The retired middleweight and Fox UFC analyst was asked on Twitter Monday if he thought Sonnen’s firing was “just," and he said he thinks it was. According to Shaun Al-Shatti of MMA Fighting, Sonnen, who tested positive for a total of five banned substances in his two recent random drug tests, was terminated by the UFC and Fox Sports this week. The former United States Marine has been a consummate p more
