Lyoto Machida Has Some Surprises for Former Training Partner Mark Munoz

Lyoto Machida faces Mark Munoz at UFC Fight Night 30: Machida vs. Munoz on Saturday in Manchester, England.

It will be the Brazilian’s first UFC bout at middleweight after having held the title and remaining a top contender at 205 pounds. Having run into a brick wall waiting for another light heavyweight title shot, he made the move to 185 pounds and now faces his former training partner, Mark Munoz.

Despite having spent many hours together in the gym, Machida believes he still has a few surprises left for Munoz.

UFC Fight Night 30 takes place Saturday, Oct. 26, at Phones 4u Arena. Machida and Munoz headline the fight card.
