Live Chat: Jon Jones, TUF: Nations Finale, UFC on FOX 11 preview and more

I'd like to settle this once and for all about UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones.

I don't know if what he did on Instagram was or wasn't him. At best, it's all weird. At worst, he's a horrible homophobe worthy of every bit of scorn we can possibly heap on him. What the truth is, I don't know, but I'd like to talk more about the nature of Jones' criticism and where it's likely headed.

But let that not serve as a distraction too much as there are three UFC events in ten days. Up first, The Ultimate Fighter: Nations followed by the next season of The Ultimate Fighter. I'm not one for animosity raising a bout's appeal (although it certainly works for the profile), but I am somewhat more intrigued this time around as it relates to Tim Kennedy and Michael Bisping.

Then Saturday is the next installment on FOX. I'm not sure how well it will do in the ratings, but it's a pretty sensational card...except for the fact that Rafael dos Anjos vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov is on the prelims instead of the main card. What an unbelievable bummer that is.

There's a lot going on, so join me today to discuss all of this and more. In terms of today's chat, anything is up for discussion, but I will lead with this and it all kicks off at 1 p.m. ET.

As is customary, I'll post the video window here as the event draws near and I'll answer any questions you may have if you post them in the comments section below. Be sure that you click the 'rec' button for those comments/questions you believe most deserve a response.

Be sure to link this page and use the hashtag #chatwrappers on Twitter or even Facebook when you're watching this to let everyone know you're taking part is this activity of ours.

Talk with you all at 1 p.m. ET.

Josh Thomson looks to avoid retirement against the ever improving, and always entertaining Bobby Green for UFC on FOX 12. Josh Thomson vs. Bobby Green Lightweight
When you reflect on Bobby Green and Josh Thomson's careers, it's interesting to note how similar they are: both men are considered talented, and yet both men possess results that undercut their potential. They just haven't broken through as the true elite. You could make the case that Thomson is truly elite, but it's not a reflection o more
