Lineup set for UFC 192 in Houston with Daniel Cormier's first defense and 12 total fights

The lineup is set for next month’s UFC 192 event in Houston with the light heavyweight title on the line in the main event.

UFC 192 takes place Oct. 3 at Toyota Center in Houston. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.

Recently crowned 205-pound titleholder Daniel Cormier (16-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) goes after his first title defense when he meets former title challenger Alexander Gustafsson (16-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC). Cormier is currently ranked No. 2 in the NOS Energy Drink MMA light heavyweight rankings, and Gustafsson is No. 4.

In the co-headliner, Uriah Hall (11-5 MMA, 4-3 UFC), who recently replaced Roan Carneiro (20-9 MMA, 3-3 UFC), meets fellow middleweight Gegard Mousasi (37-5-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC).

In the co-main event, former welterweight champion Johny Hendricks (17-3 MMA, 12-3 UFC) won’t be getting the title shot he hoped for, instead meeting fellow top contender Tyron Woodley (15-3 MMA, 5-2 UFC).

Also on the card, former light-heavyweight champion and No. 8-ranked Rashad Evans (19-3-1 MMA, 14-3-1 UFC) meets No. 5 Ryan Bader (19-4 MMA, 12-4 UFC). Evans will be returning after an injury layoff approaching two years.
