Tim Means and Henry Cejudo delivered key victories to top out the Legacy FC 27 fight card on Friday, Jan. 31, at Houston’s Arena Theatre.
It was another important victory for Means after being released by the UFC last year. He has since won twice under the Legacy FC banner, defeating fellow UFC vet Pete Spratt in September, and now stopping Artenas Young in the first round on Friday night.
Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo is now undefeated in his six professional mixed martial arts bouts after winning a unanimous decision over Elias Garcia.
Not everything is coming up roses for Cejudo, however, as he missed weight for the fight, the second consecutive time he has done so under the Legacy FC banner. He was fined 50-percent of his fight purse for the infraction, and will also likely be suspended after being a late arrival to the weigh-ins. Legacy FC president Mick Maynard is considering releasing the former Olympic champion.
