September’s UFC 178 pay-per-view continues to grow with the addition of a lightweight bout to the bill in Las Vegas.

Kevin Lee (8-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) and Jon Tuck (8-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) have agreed to meet at UFC 178. UFC officials announced the new booking on Thursday at UFC.com, saying verbal agreements are in place for the matchup.

UFC 178 takes place on Sept. 27 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The main card, headlined by a light heavyweight title fight between champ Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier, will air on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.

Lee earlier this month picked up a split-decision win over Jesse Ronson at the TUF 19 Finale for his first UFC victory. That got him back on track after a loss in his promotional debut to Al Iaquinta at UFC 169 in February, where he dropped a unanimous decision. Prior to signing with the UFC, Lee, from Michigan, was a perfect 7-0, including four wins in 2013 by submission.

Tuck, a Guam native who trains at the MMA Lab in Arizona with the likes of former lightweight champion Benson Henderson, got back in the win column earlier this summer, as well. In June, he picked up a TKO win over Jake Lindsey – when Lindsey tapped out due to heel strikes in the third round. That was a rebound for Tuck following the first loss of his pro career, a unanimous decision setback to Norman Parke at UFC Fight Night 30 in England this past October.

With the addition, UFC 178 now includes:

  • Champ Jon Jones vs. Daniel Cormier – for light heavyweight title
  • Conor McGregor vs. Dustin Poirier
  • Bobby Green vs. Jorge Masvidal
  • Dominick Cruz vs. Takeya Mizugaki
  • Tim Kennedy vs. Yoel Romero
  • Amanda Nunes vs. Cat Zingano
  • Brian Ebersole vs. John Howard
  • Patrick Cote vs. Stephen Thompson
  • Kevin Lee vs. Jon Tuck
