KO: Ultimate Fighter Chuck Liddell Voted Off 'Dancing With the Stars'

In week four of this season's "Dancing With the Stars," the 11 remaining couples battled it out with four new dances: the two-step, Charleston, Bolero and the Lambada.

Ultimate Fighting Chuck Liddell is a champion in the ring, but not on the dance floor. Liddell was voted off "Dancing With the Stars" on Tuesday night, and his professional partner says he had to overcome a lack of natural ability in the ballroom.

"He wasn't a very good dancer to start with," Anna Trebunskaya told Chris Cuomo on "Good Morning America" today. "He had to work a lot [on] his dancing footwork and dancing ability. Totally different from fighting."

Liddell also had to work on his tendency to look upset when he was concentrating.

"I said you have to smile, you cannot scare people," Trebunskaya joked. "You have to look like you're enjoying yourself."

For week four of the competition, Liddell and Trebunskaya danced the Two Step to "Boot Scootin' Boogie" by Brooks & Dunn. Judge Len Goodman told Liddell "your quality of dancing isn't there" and judge Bruno Tonioli added that "you bring carnage and mayhem to everything you do."

Trebunskaya said Liddell "had been getting better and better… he finally got the posture going, then we got the Country Two Step and all the things we worked on…I don't know where they went."

Still, Trebunskaya said, "It was amazing to work with him.I have to give him credit. He worked so hard."

Competition Heats Up in Week Four

In week four of this season's "Dancing With the Stars," the 11 remaining couples battled it out with four new dances: the two-step, Charleston, Bolero and the Lambada.

Coming in first for the second straight week were singer Mya and partner Dmitry Chaplin, who danced an impressive Lambada to "Ain't It Funny" by Jennifer Lopez. The couple garnered 28 points and solid praise from the three judges.

"I never find your routines boring…. My expectations are really high," judge Len Goodman said.

Judge Carrie Ann Inaba told Mya that she's on fire, while judge Bruno Tonioli took it the next level. "That was an erotic and exotic roller coaster that you would want to ride over and over again," he said.

Mya and Melissa Joan Hart Lead the Way

The surprise of the evening came from actress Melissa Joan Hart and partner Mark Ballas, who tied Mya and Dmtri for first place. The two danced a stunning rendition of the Charleston.

The judges marveled at their performance. "Melissa, you brought the 1920s Hollywood back to life.... You had the role 110 percent," said Tonioli, coming to his feet.

Goodman chimed in with his own plaudits for the dance. "The Charleston's all about the three e's, energy excitement, and entertainment, you tipped all the bottles."

And Inaba gushed: "That is your dance … you had everything … fantastic, breakthrough." Hart and Ballas had a disappointing finish last week, receiving just 19 points.

Nipping at the heels of the two leaders were model Joanna Krupa and her partner Derek Hough, who danced a risqué Lambada. In a last minute decision, Hough took to the stage shirtless to perform the number, wowing the crowd.

It was all enough for Inaba to say, "I hope that the children were in bed."

Hough's bold move trumped Ballas' decision to don a fake mustache.

While the two couples were in their element on the dance floor, others had trouble finding their footing.

Tying for last place with just 16 points were two couples: former Dallas Cowboy Michael Irvin and his partner Anna Demidova, and snowboarder Louie Vito and his partner Chelsie Hightower. The judges cited the dances for, well, lacking dancing at all.

Vito and Hightower's two-step to the tune of "Sweet Home Alabama" was "slightly dazed and confused," Tonioli said. Goodman agreed that it "didn't have enough going on."

Irvin and Demidova, meanwhile, scored at the bottom for the third week in a row. "Your dancing is a little bit like the economy. Every week it's supposed to be getting better, but nothing happens," Tonioli said.

"There wasn't enough dancing," echoed Inaba.

Tom DeLay Bowed Out in Week Three

These dances come after last week's "Latin Night" in which two couples departed the show. First, there was former House Speaker Tom DeLay's surprise announcement that he would have to bow out because of stress fractures.

"I'm really disappointed I can't go any further…. [But] you have to practice in order to be in this competition. It was too hard," DeLay told "Good Morning America" last week. "I decided it was time to bow out."

Then, Debi Mazar and Maksim Chmerkovskiy were voted off last week after their low-scoring Samba.
