New Mexico produces another UFC fighter as โKing of the Cageโ champion Tim Means will step in on short notice to face Bernardo Magalhaes at UFC on Fuel 1 in Nebraska.
The UFC made the fight official this week.
Tim โDirty Birdโ Means comes to the UFC with an impressive 16-3-1 record, and a two weight class champion in King of the Cage.
Means trains under New Mexico coach Tom Vaughn, who also brought up current UFC welterweight contender Carlos Condit, and now serves as the head coach at Power MMA & Fitness with fighters such as Ryan Bader, Aaron Simpson and C.B. Dollaway.
A fierce striker by trade, Means comes to the UFC on a seven fight win streak and also holds a win over current Strikeforce fighter Bobby Green.
Means faces Bernardo Magalhaes on the preliminary portion of the UFC on Fuel undercard set to air on Facebook.
