If you want to see the UFC in New York – and not break the bank – “UFC Fight Night 102: Lewis vs. Abdurakhimov” might be your jam.
The event takes place Dec. 9 at Times Union Center in Albany, N.Y., and the entire card streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
Tickets for the event go on sale this week; they start at just $33 and max out at $143 for cageside seats. Meanwhile, the mega-UFC 205 card, which takes place Nov. 12 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, has ticket prices ranging from $106 to a whopping $1,506.
UFC Fight Night 102 features a headliner between Derrick Lewis (16-4 MMA, 7-2 UFC), who’s No. 11 in the USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA heavyweight rankings thanks to a four-fight UFC winning streak, and Shamil Abdurakhimov (17-3 MMA, 2-1 UFC), who’s defeated Anthony Hamilton and Walt Harris in his two most recent bouts to move to 5-1 since 2012.
Lewis had actually campaigned for an immediate rematch with Roy Nelson (watch the video above), whom he beat via decision in July. Instead, he takes on Abdurakhimov, who could boost his own stock with a victory over Lewis.
UFC Fight Night 102 tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday at 10 a.m. ET (7 p.m. PT). However, UFC Fight Club members can buy tickets on Wednesday at 10 a.m. ET, and UFC.com e-newsletter subscribers can purchase their seats on Thursday at 10 a.m. ET.
