Featherweights Josh Grispi and Matt Grice are on a collision course for the UFC 136 fight card in Houston.
UFC officials announced the new bout on Thursday.
After a potential title shot loomed in early 2011, Josh Grispi (14-3) came up short in his first two fights for the UFC, losing to both Dustin Poirier and George Roop in back-to-back fights.
The New England fighter will look to rebound in October and stave off three losses in a row when he returns and faces Matt Grice at UFC 136.
Matt Grice (13-4) will be looking for his first win in the UFC as a featherweight in Houston.
The former lightweight exited the UFC and returned in June, but lost by TKO to former WEC fighter Ricardo Lamas.
Grice will try to get back on track with the bout against Grispi at UFC 136.
