A lightweight showdown between Jorge Masvidal and Rustam Khabilov is reportedly in the works for a to-be-announced UFC Fight Night event in November.

The booking was announced Tuesday on Fuel TV’s “UFC Tonight.” No other bouts have been officially revealed for the event, which is expected to air live on Fox Sports 1.

Masvidal last competed this past Saturday, when he weathered an early storm from Michael Chiesa and forced the “TUF 15” winner to submit with just one second remaining in the second round of their UFC on Fox 8 conflict. Masvidal, 28, has won five of his last six, with his lone loss in that span coming in a failed 2011 title bid against then-Strikeforce lightweight king Gilbert Melendez.

Like “Gamebred,” Khabilov has also yet to lose in the UFC, posting first-round technical knockouts over Vinc Pichel and Yancy Medeiros to begin his Octagon tenure. Known for his sambo skills and violent suplexes, the 26-year-old Dagestani has finished nine of his 16 victims by either knockout or submission and has tasted defeat just once in nearly six years as a pro.
