The auction is sponsored by the Learning Links Foundation of Miami, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide kids with the aforementioned conditions with “a learning environment that promotes the acquisition and maintenance of appropriate behaviors in order to achieve their maximum potential within their family, school, and community life.”
Jones will donate a two-day training seminar at Jackson’s Mixed Martial Arts in Albuquerque, N.M. The package includes hands-on training from Jones and revered MMA coach Greg Jackson, as well as flight, lodging and travel accommodations.
“Everywhere I go, I am touched by all the support I receive from UFC fans,” said Jones. “I want to show my support, too, and help local communities, so I did not hesitate to offer this training package to the Learning Links Foundation of Miami to benefit children with autism.”
The starting bid for Jones' V.I.P. Package was listed at $2,500, and the current bid stands at $2,950. Joining Jones' contribution on the auction ticket are items such as a Superbowl football autographed by halftime act the Black Eyed Peas, as well as an opportunity for one lucky child to meet the Florida Marlins baseball team.
