Jon 'Bones' Jones Vs Mario 'Marinho' Filho on Brazilian MMA Reality TV (Yahoo! Contributor Network)

UFC champion Jon 'Bones' Jones is comfortable in front of the camera doing commercials, appearing on talk shows and now—Brazilian reality TV. On the show, Jon spars with a Brazilian MMA fighter, who is much smaller than him and is wearing protective headgear. Apparently, this man, who is known as Marinho, is famous for jumping in the cage and doing battle with MMA royalty.

Too bad that show isn't available in the US. It looks to be the reverse of "Bully Beatdown" with Jason "Mayhem" Miller on MTV. In Mayhem's show, the bully is beaten up the MMA fighter. In "Sensei", people are hoping the little guy doesn't get destroyed by professional, world champions.

Jon Jones: Believe Your Eyes video

Jon Jones is featured in promotional videos more often than other champions. He has good looks, charm and charisma. I wonder if Ben Henderson, the new lightweight champion will get the same star treatment?

Back in February, both fighters appeared on a sports news show called SportsNite, filmed in Atlanta video.

Sibling Rivalry

Rashad Evans is comfortable in front of the camera too. The guys go back and forth—in a gentlemanly fashion—about who said what to whom, when and how. It's like listening to two brothers one-upping each other.

Jon Jones complimenting Evans: "Rashad is a good wrestler and a good grappler and that's about it."

Rashad complimenting Jon Jones: "He's creative and he fights with youth of not knowing that things can happen [not go the way he expected]…I admire that."

I admire both of these fighters. I think that no matter which one wins, these two guys will become friends again after this fight. At 15 minutes of this video, they both start talking at the same time, like a family argument. It's kind of strange to watch two men fight who really could be brothers. I'm expecting big man-hugs between these two after they have their fight in April. Keep a box of Kleenex handy.
