Despite earning his way into Cage Warriors' middleweight tournament
final, John Phillips has been forced to withdraw from a planned
championship matchup with Pavel Kusch.
With Phillips out, Chris "The Killing" Fields now fights Kusch for
the promotion's middleweight title at Cage Warriors Fighting
Championship Fight Night 7, which takes place Sept. 1 in Amman, Jordan.
MMAjunkie.com learned of the switch from sources close to the fighters. An official announcement is expected shortly.
