John Maguire replaces brother at Cage Warriors 66, March 22 lineup official

Just 21 days after his most recent bout, UF C vet John Maguire has replaced his injured brother at next week’s Cage Warriors 66 event.

Maguire (19-7) has replaced his brother, Tommy Maguire (15-5), who was scratched from the card with an undisclosed injury. He now meets fellow lightweight Damir Hadzovic (7-2).

Cage Warriors 66 takes place next Saturday, March 22, at Ballerup Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark. The main card streams live on MMAjunkie in North American following prelims on Cage Warriors’ Facebook page. Start times haven’t been announced.

Maguire vs. Hadzovic has third billing on the main card.

In his second post-UFC bout, Maguire fought in Cage Warriors 65's headliner on March 1 and suffered a decision loss to Saul Rogers. He looks to shake out of a 1-4 skid when he meets Hadzovic, a Bosnian fighter who makes his promotional debut on the strength of a three-fight winning streak.
