A women’s bantamweight bout between Jessica Eye and Alexis Davis has been added to UFC 170, company officials announced on Monday evening.
The Eye-Davis match-up adds to the growing pay-per-view card, which takes place on Feb. 22 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
Eye (11-1) is coming off a win in her UFC debut, a split-decision victory over Sarah Kaufman at UFC 166 in October. The win was Eye’s eighth in a row, picking up previous victories in the regional circuit and Bellator.
Davis (15-5) is a winner of two fights in the Octagon, collecting her most recent win with a unanimous decision over former title challenger Liz Carmouche at UFC Fight for the Troops 3 in November.
UFC 170 is scheduled to be headlined by a women’s bantamweight title fight between titleholder Ronda Rousey and challenger Sara McMann.
