The 155-pound pairing takes place June 7 at Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, N.M., and precedes a lightweight main event pitting former champion Benson Henderson against Jackson-Wink MMA rep Rustam Khabilov.
High was initially expected to return to action this past January but saw a planned UFC Fight Night 35 appearance canceled due to appendicitis. “The Kansas City Bandit” last competed on Nov. 16, when he outpointed Anthony Lapsley to pick up his second consecutive Octagon victory.
Dos Anjos saw a five-fight winning streak snapped by Khabib Nurmagomedov earlier this month at UFC on Fox 11. Prior to that setback, the Brazilian scored consecutive victories in 2013, outpointing Evan Dunham last May before doing the same to Donald Cerrone at August’s UFC Fight Night 27.
