Igor Pokrajac Scratched from UFC 131 Bout Against Krzysztof Soszynski

Igor Pokrajac has been forced out of his fight at UFC 131 against Krzysztof Soszynski and a search is underway for a last minute replacement.

A late change has been made to the UFC 131 fight card this weekend that has left Krzysztof Soszynski without an opponent.

Igor Pokrajac has been forced out of the show. Sources close to the fight confirmed the news to MMAWeekly.com. While details were not available, visa issues may be the cause of Pokrajac’s availability for the fight. The news of Pokrajac dropping out of the fight was first reported by PunchDrunkGamer.com.

Pokrajac was himself a late replacement when Australian Anthony Perosh was forced out of the fight with an injury.

Soszynski reportedly still plans on traveling to Canada with the UFC searching for a last minute replacement, but with only three days until weigh-ins, it might be a tall order even for UFC matchmaker Joe Silva.

Soszynski was returning to action for the first time since defeating Goran Reljic at UFC 122 in Germany in November 2010.

MMAWeekly.com will have more information on whether or not Soszynski will remain on the card when it becomes available.
