ian-mccall-6.jpgScott Jorgensen (14-7 MMA, 3-3 UFC) will no longer fight Ian McCall (12-4-1 MMA, 1-2-1 UFC) in his flyweight debut at UFC on FOX 9.

McCall has suffered an undisclosed injury and was forced off the card, and a replacement is being sought for Jorgensen’s first fight at 125 pounds, a source close to the fighters today told MMAjunkie.com.

UFC on FOX 9 takes place Dec. 14 at Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, Calif. The main card airs on FOX following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and MMAjunkie.com.

McCall vs. Jorgensen was slated for the night’s preliminary card.

Jorgensen has fought under the Zuffa banner since 2008. He put together a 7-3 record in the WEC before the promotion shuttered its doors and ceded its talent to the UFC. Jorgensen opened his UFC career with wins over Jeff Curran and Ken Stone but has since gone just 1-3, though the losses came to top-ranked fighters Urijah Faber, Eddie Wineland and Renan Barao. The skid also included two “Fight of the Night” performances.

After the Faber loss, which headlined The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale in April, Jorgensen announced plans to drop to 125 pounds.

The latest UFC on FOX 9 card includes:

MAIN CARD (FOX, 8 p.m. ET)

PRELIMINARY CARD (FOX Sports 1, MMAjunkie.com)
