Casey Olson and Cody Gibson both came in on point for their Tachi Palace Fights 12 headliner, weighing in Thursday at 135.8 and 135.2 pounds, respectively.

Taking place Friday at the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino in Lemoore, Calif., the event also features a featherweight championship co-main event pitting Georgi Karakhanyan (145) against Micah Miller (144.8). While Karakhanyan weighed in at 145.6 on his initial trip to the scale, the Bellator veteran made weight on his second attempt, moving the title fight along as planned. TPF 12 streams live on Sherdog.com.

A veteran of 16 professional outings, Olson has not fought in nearly two years. Representing The Pit, Olson began his career in 2005, posting four consecutive wins in the defunct WEC. A winner in six of his last seven outings, “The Underdog” last competed in May 2010, earning a unanimous decision over Shawn Klarcyk at TPF 4.

Gibson is a five-time Tachi veteran, most recently facing Ulysses Gomez for the vacant bantamweight championship at TPF 11 this past December. “The Renegade” was submitted by Gomez with a third-round guillotine choke, marking just the second pro loss of the fighter’s career. The defeat snapped a two-fight winning streak, as Gibson had bested Walel Watson and Art Becerra earlier in the year.

In addition to the headlining attractions, the main draw features a pair of onetime UFC talents, as Robert Emerson (149) locks horns with Savant Young (149.2) and Francisco Rivera (135.6) squares off with Antonio Duarte (134.8). Also showcased will be NCAA Division I wrestling champion Bubba Jenkins (156), who makes his sophomore professional effort against Millennia MMA export Chris Gomez (154.6).

Filling out the card will be a heavyweight conflict between Liron Wilson (227.4) and Dave Huckaba (253.8), as well as a featherweight scrap pitting Anthony Avila (146) against Becerra (145.8). Alex Perez (130.2) was supposed to meet Edgar Diaz (127) in a flyweight attraction, but both men came in overweight.
