Two new fights have been announced for the upcoming Dream 17 card in Japan taking place on May 29 from the Saitama Super Arena.

Joachim “Hellboy” Hansen will look to make it three wins in a row when he meets fellow former Pride fighter Mitsuhiro Ishida in a featherweight bout.

Ironically, both Hansen and Ishida found great success in the lightweight division over the years as they were perennially ranked in the top ten for the weight class.

Hansen and Ishida have now dropped to featherweight and will meet in a Japan as a part of the upcoming show in May.

Also added to the card is another featherweight featured bout between former UFC and Pride fighter Caol Uno and Akiyo “Wicky” Nishiura.

Both fighters are in desperate need of a win with Uno coming into the fight with a 1-5-1 record over his last 7 fights, while Nishiura has pulled a 2-4 record over his last six contests.

The bouts were announced by Dream during a press conference on Monday, with more fights to be announced in the coming weeks.
