Former “Ultimate Fighter” competitor Andy Main has been forced out of his upcoming bout at Bellator 49 against Kenny Foster due to an undisclosed injury suffered in training.
Sources close to the situation confirmed to MMAWeekly.com that Main would have to drop out of the bout on Tuesday.
The type of injury Main suffered is unknown, but he is expected to be out of action for at least four to six weeks.
Currently, his original opponent Kenny Foster remains on the card set for Atlantic City on Sept 10. While no replacement has been named, sources have indicated that Foster is expected to remain on the card if another fighter can be slotted in.
