Sarah KaufmanInvicta FC has added former Strikeforce bantamweight champion Sarah Kaufman to their next card facing off against Kaitlin Young on Oct 6.

Invicta FC officials announced the new bout on Monday.

Kaufman returns to action following a tough submission loss to current Strikeforce bantamweight women’s world champion Ronda Rousey in August. The loss snapped a three fight win streak, but now Kaufman looks to start a new run with her fight in October.

Facing Kaufman in her Invicta FC debut will be former Elite XC competitor Kaitlin Young.

Young has already appeared twice in the Invicta FC cage, but she’s still searching for her first win after a draw in her debut and a loss to Liz Carmouche in her last bout.

A powerful striker fighting out of Minnesota, Young will face Kaufman with a chance to get back on the winning track against one of the top women’s fighters in the sport.

Invicta FC 3 takes place on Oct 6 from Memorial Hall in Kansas City.
