Two seasoned featherweights will square off when the UFC revisits Montreal, according to promotion officials, who recently announced that Rodrigo Damm will lock up with Antonio Carvalho at UFC 154.

Taking place at the Bell Centre in Montreal, the Nov. 17 event is expected to be headlined by a welterweight title unification bout between Georges St. Pierre and Carlos Condit, provided St. Pierre is able to recover from his torn ACL in time. The pay-per-view event will also likely showcase another crucial welterweight tilt pitting Johny Hendricks against Martin Kampmann.

Damm, 32, used his recent appearance on “The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil” to jump-start his career as a featherweight. After losing four of five at 155 pounds from 2008 to 2011, Damm impressed in his Octagon debut against “TUF” cast mate Anistavio Medeiros de Figueroa, submitting “Gasparzinho” with a rear-naked choke in just 2:12 at UFC 147.

Carvalho, 33, rebounded from defeat in his inaugural UFC appearance to impress in his sophomore Octagon effort, using a crisp boxing attack to relieve former Legacy FC champion Daniel Pineda of his consciousness last month at UFC 149. “Pato” has now won four of his last five fights and owns 10 of his 14 career victories by either knockout or submission.
