Donald Cerrone and Melvin Guillard at UFC 150A heated showdown is headed to Chi-Town on Jan. 26 as Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone finally faces off with former WEC champion Anthony Pettis.

The two lightweights have been involved in war of words over the past several months, and now they will finally meet in the Octagon.

Cerrone has been waiting on Pettis to finally get back to full health following shoulder surgery that’s kept him out for most of 2012, and now he’s finally got the date for their fight.

It was touch and go for a little while on Pettis’ return date due to complications first arising from the shoulder surgery, and then the former WEC champion had to deal with an infection that spread in his elbow that required him to be admitted to the hospital for a few days.

With the health scare over, Pettis will now look to get back into action as he faces his fellow WEC veteran at UFC on Fox 6 in January.

UFC on Fox 6 goes down Jan. 26 at the United Center in Chicago, and will be headlined by the flyweight title fight between Demetrious Johnson and John Dodson.
