The UFC has been a champion of social media and spearheaded new digital media avenues even before such terms were coined.
One the promotion’s latest avenues has been offering live video chat’s with it’s fighters via Ustream, a website that enables easy live streaming of video. UFC president Dana White made his Ustream debut Friday morning from Brazil for a 20-minute jam session with fans, answering a flurry of questions regarding the new Fox TV deal, Anderson Silva, a possible match-up between Tito Ortiz and Rich Franklin, and much more.
In fact, White’s chat with fans turned into a de facto state of the UFC address.
