A Lightweight bout between Danny Castillo (16-6) and Isaac Vallie Flagg (14-4-1) has been added to the UFC 172 fight card. UFC officials announced on Thursday that the two have verbally agreed to the fight.
Vallie-Flagg made his UFC debut in Feb. 2013, edging out veteran Yves Edwards by split decision. He was defeated in his last outing by Elias Silverio on Jan. 15 at UFC Fight Night 35 by unanimous decision.
The bout will be Castillo’s ninth inside the famed UFC Octagon. The 34-year-old is coming off a Fight of the Night performance loss to Edson Barboza on Dec. 14, 2013.
UFC 172 takes place on April 26 from the Baltimore Arena in Baltimore, Md. UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones puts his title on the line against Glover Teixeira in the main event.
