The Ultimate Fighting Championship produces over 30 live events worldwide each year, producing millions and millions of dollars in revenue.
As such, many people in the business world want to know one thing: how’d they do it?
As part of its Global Speaker Series, Stanford University invited UFC president Dana White to speak and answer questions at its Center for Global Business and the Economy.
White spoke about seeking out new talent in countries such as China, India, and Mexico; explained that prior to hosting events in a country, the UFC goes to emerging markets and scouts talent and then trains prospective fighters; and talked about his goal to produce MMA events in every country.
