What was supposed to be a main stage fight for women's MMA during the initial Strikeforce broadcast on Showtime, turned into a circus side show when Cris "Cyborg" Santos failed to make weight for her scheduled bout against Hitomi Akano, missing the 145-pound weight limit by seven pounds.

When these girls walked into the octagon.... i notice the big difference between these two. Cyborg was too big for this girl. this is why the shows don't work, and people go to the UFC. I am a big supporter of MMA and i like when new fighters succeed on other organizations. These new roganizatios should start bringing in more new fighters. Like FEDOR, guys who can put up good fights. But, when you have people coming in over weight. Cyborg was at least 165 lb. at the time of the fight.
