“Cro Cop” will apparently be a part of the UFC’s debut in South Korea.

Mirko Filipovic (31-11-2 MMA, 5-6 UFC) today tweeted his next fight will be at the recently announced event, UFC Fight Night 79, which takes place Nov. 28 at Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul. The entire event is expected to stream on UFC Fight Pass, though no fights have been officially announced for the card.

Filipovic made the announcement via Twitter:

The heavyweight made no mention of a potential opponent.

“Cro Cop” recently returned to the UFC for the first time in three-and-a-half years and scored an upset TKO victory over Gabriel Gonzaga. The 40-year-old former PRIDE star left the UFC and MMA after a 2011 loss to Roy Nelson. But he then returned to kickboxing and eventually MMA.

Since that loss to Nelson, he’s 4-1, which included non-UFC fights in Japan and Russia. He’s currently riding a three-fight winning streak with a pair of wins over Satoshi Ishii and the Gonzaga victory. All of the wins have come via knockout. In fact, in 31 career wins, the head-kick specialist has 23 knockouts.
