The UFC’s traditional pre-event show returns tonight with the debut of “Countdown to UFC 190: Rousey vs. Correia” on FOX Sports 1.
The one-hour special previews the card’s headlining bout between UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey (11-0 MMA, 5-0 UFC) and undefeated Brazilian challenger Bethe Correia (9-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC), as well as the co-feature rematch 10 years in the making between light heavyweights Antonio Rogerio Nogueira (21-6 MMA, 4-3 UFC) and Mauricio Rua (22-10 MMA, 6-8 UFC). The preview also features a heavyweight matchup between Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (34-9-1 MMA, 5-5 UFC) and Stefan Struve (25-7 MMA, 9-5 UFC).
“Countdown” airs at 9 p.m. ET (6 p.m. PT) on FOX Sports 1, and replays air throughout the week.
Rousey balances the life of a superstar, including gym visits by the likes of boxing great Mike Tyson, while discussing her anger toward Correia, which was fueled by comments the champ construed to be a direct reference to her father’s suicide. Meanwhile, Correia believes she boasts a confidence Rousey’s past opponents lacked and is intent on destroying the growing legend surrounding one of the sport’s most recognizable figures.
UFC 190 takes place Saturday at Rio de Janeiro’s HSBC Arena in Brazil. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.

MAIN CARD (Pay-per-view, 10 p.m. ET)
