Known primarily for his submission prowess, Christian M’Pumbu kept his recent impressive streak of knockout finishes intact at Bellator 45 on Saturday night.

He dropped Richard Hale with a right hook, and finished him off with a brutal flurry of hammerfists and punches moments later to capture the inaugural Bellator light heavyweight championship. The finish was his third straight via TKO, rolling through the Season 4 205-pound tournament.
